Meet Ellen Mary

Hi, I’m Ellen Mary ~ founder of Queen and Fine, trained and experienced horticulturist, floral designer and lifelong nature lover.

I grew up in England, surrounded by beaches, gardens, woodlands and wildflower meadows that first sparked my love of the natural world. That passion led me into a career in horticulture and wellness, where I've spent years exploring the powerful connection between plants, people and emotional wellbeing. I've authored two books - How to Grow a Garden and the Joy of Gardening and have hosted and spoken at some of the worlds biggest shows and events. I've been featured in magazines, newspapers and publications along with producing and presenting on TV in the UK and USA.

Moving to Charlotte gave me a new landscape to fall in love with. The Southern seasons, vibrant local growers, and a creative community that shares my belief in the beauty of intentional living. Queen and Fine grew from this new beginning: a way to blend my UK roots with the charm and energy of North Carolina.
